I was a little skeptical at first using a mobile mechanic, but being a thousand miles away from home in an unfamiliar town, I needed my car fixed asap since the car starter was having issues. I found the service affordable, hassle-free, quick, and overall pleasant. The mechanic (Isai R.) was running a little late due to traffic but informed me via phone and quickly got to work fixing my car. I was impressed by the mechanics knowledge, professionalism, and eagerness to get the job done right. I would use YourMechanic.com again. Thanks!

Edgardo

He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived at our agreed upon time where I work. He did the work within the allotted time and called me when he was done replacing the starter motor in my minivan. I went outside and the minivan started great. No more weak or rasping noises, just a quick, strong start like a new car. Edgardo was very polite and helpful. The price for the repair was a very fair. Less than a garage would have been and I didn't have to take time off work to go to a garage and drop off my car and find a transportation to and from. I'll call him again for any repairs that can be done while I'm at work.

All about Starter Replacement

A starter is an electrical motor that is connected to the battery. The job of a starter is to set the engine (pistons, crankshaft, etc.) in motion when you turn the ignition switch on. Once the engine starts and is in motion, the job of starter is done. If the starter goes bad, the engine will not crank properly when you turn the ignition key on or may not crank at all.
