Enrique was very prompt, courteous and super friendly. My car wasn't starting and I was unable to jump it myself, so I placed a same day appointment first thing in the morning. He came out, introduced himself, explained the YourMechanic service, and diagnosed that I had a bad cell. I needed my car fixed quickly so I can commute to work, so he went out to pick up a battery and installed it right away. I was also overdue for an oil change, but I didn't want to go through the full 60,000-mile service today -- Enrique completely understood and just took care of the oil for me so my car can keep running well until I am ready for the full service. This was the most stress-free mechanic visit I have ever experienced, and I will definitely request Enrique in the future.

Very nice guy. Professional. Quickly did the oil change. Left no sign that he was even there, other than the clean oil in my car!

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
