Scott provided excellent service for multiple appointments. He swapped out the oil sending unit, did an oil change, replace the ignition lock assembly, and provided an general inspection. I feel I can trust Scott with any future repairs my Jeep may need. As for YourMechanic, I think their customer service can use some lubricants to make their scheduling and communication run a little smoother. There were a few hiccups in scheduling that had nothing to do with Scott and I kind of felt sorry for the guy a couple of times. They even scheduled service for one day without consulting me. However, scheduling and communication issues aside, I'd definitely rely on Scott's help again.

Casey was running late but he was quick to call and keep me updated. He's a friendly guy who works under some difficult circumstances. No shop equipment, cold, rain and darkness. Still, he had the tools he needed and got the job done. Having him have to come back because the serpintine belt is squealing badly. Probably needs to be adjusted.

All about Power Steering Pump Replacement

The power steering system enables you to turn the steering wheel easily. When the car is not running, it is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel. When the car is running, it is the power steering system that helps you turn the steering wheel so easily. The power steering system includes: power steering pump, fluid, belt, hoses and steering gear (rack and pinion). The steering gear connects the steering wheel to the suspension stub axles. When you turn the steering wheel, the power steering pump sends fluid to the steering gear that applies the pressure needed to turn the wheels. If the power steering pump leaks, the steering will become harder to turn. You will see fluid (power steering fluid) underneath your car.
