I used Your Mechanic on a whim, needed a new starter installed on my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was stuck in my office's parking garage. I booked an appointment to try and avoid a tow truck taking my vehicle to a mechanic that would then attempt to rip me off. I was VERY satisfied and impressed with Your Mechanic and especially Richard's helpfulness, professionalism, friendliness and quickness. Richard showed up early, communicated the time he thought he would take to install the new starter, made sure it worked properly, and then did a quick check on my engine, breaks, tires, and other items to make sure they were in good order. He was done in less than 20 minutes, my Jeep started back up wonderfully and I was able to drive it home. Your Mechanic and Richard were extremely helpful and I will no doubt use them again for any future help I need on my Jeep.

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
