Robert saved me about $1,000 by finding out that the rack and pinion did not have to be replaced. Thanks again for all the help and hard work :)

Dave was on time and called to provide ETA before arrival. He diagnosed my engine vibration to a ignition coil and also low on oil. It's funny that he has to book himself via the app for the parts replacement to work within yourmechanic system. Picked up a new ignition coil and fixed my car on the same day and even went a step further to pick up a quart or oil and top off my low oil.

Dealing with any car problem makes one obviously stressed. You worry about over priced parts as well as finding the right mechanic. in hopes that they wont double talk you into fixing stuff you don't need, screwing you over and still not fixing your original problem. Right? Well hopefully, If you happen to get lucky like me, you'll meet mechanics like Rocco. Upon meeting Rocco he has a "Zen" like way of putting you at ease regarding your car problem. Rocco seems to really care about your situation and takes pride in resolving your issues without giving you the runaround. Rocco's work experience is definitely noticed. And, the tips he gave on getting the most outa my car was greatly apriciated. I do plan on using Rocco in what I hope is the distant future. And I'd like to thank "Your Mechanic" for providing quality service for the Public. _Eric Randol. Long Beach Ca.

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
