Tien showed up on time and even though it was about 100 degrees in the driveway he immediately got to work on the car. He was very professional and I felt like I was in good hands. I would not hesitate using Tien and YourMechanic on my next service.

Michael arrived early and finished early. Overall it was a great a experience with Michael. The website needs some work and the support systems at yourmechanic need improving. Also the app that the mechanic had to deal with to update my service order took a really long time. The actual car work was excellent but the overall execution through the yourmechanic systems needs some work.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
