This is the second time I used Jeff Walker as my mechanic. He comes on time, gets right to work, showed me what needed to be repaired, then proceeded to do the repair. He then cleaned up the entire space around my vehicle and the vehicle itself. Jeff is always looking to be of service, he's polite, respectful, competent and knowledgeable in what he does. Upon leaving he noticed that my right front tire was low and reminded me to get that taken care of. I would recommend Jeff to anyone needing a great, competent mechanic who really knows his stuff. C. All about Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Many newer cars have computerized engine management systems that rely on sensors to report data to the computer. The crankshaft position sensor is used in conjunction with the camshaft position sensor to control ignition timing and to let the computer know when to inject fuel and provide spark sequence. Due to the mounting locations of this sensor, it is common for heat and oil leaks to cause this sensor to fail.
