Took my car to a service chain for oil change and tire rotation, after service was completed, mechanic said he noticed I needed a new valve cover gasket.... for $625!! Went home and found YOURMECHANIC.COM. Free quotes online, book your appointment and they send a certified mechanic with a 1year/12,000 mile warranty on their work...to your home!! Rodney showed up on time, got right down to work and finished when he said he would. While he was here, I cleaned house a little, read a book and took a nap. Twenty minutes after I woke up, Rodney finished the job. I got the valve cover gasket, front and rear shock absorbers for $510...for 3 jobs...$115 less than the 1 job the chain quoted!!! Unbelievable!! I will only be using this service from now on. And, if available, Rodney too.

After Pep Boys diagnosed my truck as needing a $1500 repair of replacing the fuel pump assembly , fuel pressure regulator , and fuel filter , I was very suspicious . I made an appoint with " your mechanic " . Carlos arrived right on time and conducted an initial trial of starting the truck . He decided to run a few tests and determined that the fuel pump and fuel system was fine . He saved me a small fortune and suggested that if it gave me trouble in the future , I should schedule a further analysis with "Your mechanic" .
