Bob did a great job replacing my Acura's timing belt and the crankshaft camshaft seals. He has a van with all the tools needed to do a job efficiently. I will definitely book Bob again for future work.

BOB BORISSOV pointed out that the "check engine" light was on. I had known that and told him the light came on when the harmonic balancer pulley loosened, which was the reason we needed YourMechanic service. I asked him how the "check engine" light would be turned off and Bob told me I would need to disconnect the battery cable for 30-60 seconds and then reattach the battery cable. My question is this: Why did not Bob, the YourMechanic mechanic, do this while he had the engine compartment open???
