I was at work, but my son was home when Dan came to fix the car. Dan called me the night before to confirm that he would be here this morning and that he had the needed part. According to my son, he arrived a little early, got right to work, was very friendly. I would probably request Dan the next time I use this service. Hard to rate on trustworthiness, but my car is definitely fixed, and it didn't cost me a penny more than I was quoted!

Ricky is definitely an expert in his field and was able to dive right in and effectively communicate all of his observations and recommendations for my automotive needs. I have a much better understanding of my car after the inspection and therefore I've got a piece of mind on how to proceed with necessary maintenance. I would definitely recommend booking your car needs with Ricky.

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
