Friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Took time to answer my questions and explain things to me. Also, when he took it for a test drive, he noticed that the clutch pedal needed adjustment, and just did it, even though that wasn't part of the service for this appointment. Awesome. Thanks!

I recommend Jason to everyone I know with a car. I am very pleased with Your Mechanic and the mechanics they employ.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
