I am very satisfied with Robert and the service. I honestly don't know how this could have worked out any better for me. He came a few minutes early, introduced himself and asked me to describe the problem. He knew exactly what to do and replaced the parts that I needed. He test drove my car to make sure everything was perfect. He showed me the bad parts and cleaned up when he was done. He's professional, very friendly, and went out of his way to accommodate me. I will recommend him to everyone I know. I should have used "Your Mechanic" years ago. Thank you

He is superb! I spent months looking for the perfect used car in my budget. I had nearly given up until I found the car online about an hour away. Godwin arrive early, was knowledgeable and professional. It felt wonderful to have someone who was there for me to evaluate the car and tell me the truth. He even drove the car and called out a minor issue. The report was comprehensive and he took time to answer questions. You will not regret the service. All about Brake Pad Replacement

Depending on your car’s brake system, it may use between 4 to 8 brake pads. When you step on the brake pedal, the master cylinder sends fluid under pressure to the brake calipers (which hold the brake pads). The caliper presses the brake pad against the brake rotor, causing friction that slows down the car. During normal usage of the brakes, brake pads wear out and become thinner. If the thickness of brake pads is less than 3mm, it is time to change the pads. Depending on where you drive (city driving tends to wear pads out quicker) brake pads usually last between 30,000 to 35,000 miles. Some vehicles (e.g., BMWs) are equipped with a low-pad-warning system. In these vehicles, you will also need to replace the brake sensors as part of the brake pad service.
