Excellent service! Chris took the time to call me prior to my appointment to go over the issue I was having to be sure he was picking up the correct parts. He gave me the option to try are fix the existing part or replace the part, and went through both scenarios with me prior to my appointment. Chris showed up early, and made sure my car was good as new before leaving. I would recommend Chris to all of my family and friends for efficient and honest service. The convenience Your Mechanic provides is worth it in itself, and their prices are also much more competitive than local auto shops.

I'm not just giving those high ratings to be nice. Jonathan was very prompt, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The ignition switch is working great now, and he answered several other general questions I had. I will use the service again. Well, hopefully I don't need it too soon, but when I do, I will use Yourmechanic. Thanks again.

All about Ignition Cable (Spark plug wires) Replacement

The ignition cables, also known as “spark plug wires” are part of the ignition system. They transfer the spark from the distributor or ignition coil to spark plugs that ignite the air-fuel mixture, starting the engine. Over time, the cables can get weak and break down. This will make it harder for the spark to reach the engine cylinders, resulting in engine misfires. The car may not start at all. If one of the spark plugs has gone bad, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly.
