Jose is a great mechanic, my friend at work recommended him to me. I set up an appointment to replace my transmission fluid after Jose was done he recommended some things that needed to be fixed and what it would cost. I was so pleased with the job he did I set up the next appointments with him. My truck is now all fixed and running like new. I know if Jose can't fix it he knows someone who can. So happy to be apart of the YourMechanic.com team I will never go to a dealer or a jiffylube again.

Joe was excellent. Good job. I do my own work but I was getting into areas where I would get stuck or required two people! I was skeptacal at first of the business model (your Mechanic) but it's the people that make this work. You have the best man working for you hands down. I like working on my car myself but that some jobs area little too big or I'm getting lazier ! I will use your service again ........... Only because of Mr Hough, excellant attitude and calm approach towards the job . Reference to the question below. I have and will reccommend your company to others I know based on my experience with Joe. In other words it's "Joe" I recommend ! This could have been a different outcome for the worst if it was someone else! I would reccommend you do what you can to retain Mr Hough! I choose your company on a risk. I needed help cause I do my own work . I wish I knew about you guys before ! This is exactly what I needed ! I will recommend you guys to everyone. However let me be clear it's the mechanic I'm recommending! So when answering the questions below its based on the above experience!

All about Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

The camshaft position sensor monitors the position of the camshaft and reports that data to the car’s onboard computer system. This computer system works with sensors and other devices to keep the engine running. With data from the camshaft position sensor (CPS), the fuel injectors know when to fire. When the sensor malfunctions, the computer does not know when to fire the injectors and may not fire them at all. The faulty readouts may also throw off spark timing, which will affect the car’s fuel economy. This sensor is used in conjunction with the crankshaft position sensor to control ignition timing. It is common for heat and oil leaks to cause this sensor to fail, due to where the sensor is located.
