Very impressed with his technology. When I peaked on him, I noticed he was using a laptop to do a diagnostic. He informed me that my Camshaft Adjuster Solenoid needed to be replaced. He offered to pick up the part and fix it that day. I was impressed that he was willing to drive out of his way to fix my car. He completed both jobs in a timely manner. My check engine light is no longer on and my car drives like it's brand new! I am very happy with his work and will recommend him to everyone I now.

Carlos

I was very skeptical about using this site, would they send someone knowledgeable, reputable, etc. etc... I was very pleased to see that not only did Carlos arrive on time, he was 20 minutes early!! He introduced himself and we discussed the problem my car was having. Carlos came prepared with part in hand and all necessary tools to complete the job. He did his 50 point inspection and took pictures, all the while explaining what and why he was doing things. Carlos had the installation of the alternator done in record time. He made suggestions on future services I would be needing to get done, and wrote it all up in his detailed report. I would Highly recommend Your Mechanic and will be using the service and requesting Carlos again!!

Alvin

Alvin was very professional, he really took the time out to explain everything he was doing with my car so I didn't feel left out. He listened to everything I had to say and the information I had for him. He worked very efficiently and affectivily. He was able to point out the problem pretty much almost right away. My car is now running smoothly and I couldn't be more happier.

All about Alternator Replacement

The alternator is the component that charges the battery in your car. When you use electrical components in your car (stereo, lights, etc.), the battery loses power. The alternator recharges the battery, replenishing the lost battery power. The alternator is located in the engine compartment. If the alternator is not working properly, your car will only stay running for as long as the battery has power stored. Once the battery loses power, your car will not start. Normally, a malfunctioning alternator will turn on the battery warning light or will have a low volt gauge reading.
