Michael arrived well within the interval for the repair. He was scheduled for 145, showed up at 155. The control arm repair went well - no issues It took me eight hours to do it myself on the drivers side He had the passenger side done in two And the ride of the car is greatly improved However I also had him replace a headlamp bulb in our front headlight that had blown out On a chevy Malibu its a very tough job You have to remove the front bumper to do it He replaced it fine, but missed the fact the connector was bad and shorting out the bulb The new bulb blew out two days after he put it in the new ones I wish he had looked over the unit more closely I took it back to our regular mechanic who found the problem quickly So yes the work was done, and done less expensively than the garage, but I had to have it done at the garage anyway

All about Power Steering Pressure Hose Replacement

The power steering system enables you to turn the steering wheel easily. When the car is not running, it is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel and the tires. When the car is running, it is the power steering system that helps you turn the steering wheel so easily. The power steering system includes: power steering pump, fluid, belt, hoses and steering gear (rack and pinion). The steering gear connects the steering wheel to the stub axles. When you turn the steering wheel, the power steering pump sends fluid to the steering gear that applies the pressure needed to turn the wheels. If the power steering hoses leak, the steering will become harder to turn. You may see clear or red fluid (power steering fluid) underneath your car.
