My check engine light came on just as I was preparing to leave on a road trip and trying to get into an auto shop would have taken 2 days just to get it into a shop to be diagnosed. I called "your mechanic" and the next day John showed up to my home for the repair. He arrived at the set appointment time and was very courteous. He listened as I told him how my car was acting and began to get to work. He quickly found the problem which was a misfiring engine cylinder and after a few minutes on his phone he was off to get the required part and returned 40 minutes later and within the hour John had my car repaired and ready for the road. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent! I would recommend "your mechanic" to anyone who is skeptical (as I was) about a mobile auto repair service, even if it's not an emergency. The time and effort you will save from of calling and shopping different places, just to get an appointment days later, is alone well worth using this service and the added plus of having a knowledgeable and honest auto technician come to you is really the icing on the cake.

Peter was incredibly friendly, helpful, and to the point. He took care of my car battery situation quickly and even managed to squeeze me into his schedule a week earlier than my appointment which ended up being a lifesaver. I highly recommend him as a mechanic!
