Derek was great. Arrived early. I didn't feel like he was trying to just make money off of the recommended work.and was very thorough.

Derek is a true professional. I was told by other car care employees that my power steering pump needed to be replaced. Derek check the entire system and found the leak was coming from the hoses. He could have charged me to replace the pump but didn't. He saved me more than 70 percent of what the other car care folks quoted. I would recommend Derek for all your car needs.

Derek called me and mentioned he could come earlier which worked out best for us..I left him alone to do the work and checked on his progress every 30 minutes or so. In conversation, we discussed other issues and his opinion on them. He went above and beyond the agreed work, he did an analysis on the electrical issue with the car and we determined the probable issue.. Not only did this save me time and money we agreed on what the best move was next.. I will use Derek again!

I was really surprised at how well this worked out. I've never used a mobile mechanic and always dreaded taking my car in because of how long it would take (especially when dealing with small children). Derek arrived on time, talked to me about the history of my car, and anything else I might be concerned about. He checked out the other issues I was having with the car and provided me with a quote for the work after completing the tune-up. He did a very good job of explaining what needed to be done, how long he expected it to take, and which repairs needed to be addressed first based on my budget and order of importance. I will definitely be using YourMechanic again and requesting Derek to continue the repairs on my vehicle.

What a great service model -- so much more convenient than managing the logistics of getting the car to the dealer or garage and figuring out rides to and from work. As all the other reviewers have noted, Derek was absolutely fantastic -- consummate professional, great communicator, checked out our (somewhat vague) concerns about the brakes and assured us that all looked good (though offered to replace if we chose to go that route), and took the time to explain everything he found and fixed. This was a fabulous car repair experience with a wonderful mechanic!
