Turned out good. Tien my mechanic came early, and got straight to the job. After checking the oil from the oil change he did, instead of lying and saying that it's good, he saw it was missing 1 more quart. So he called it in, and picked up the extra quart to finish the job. Did the 50 point inspection, told me the 2 extra fluid were low, and finished everything great. Had a good day after that. Thanks Tien

Professional and thorough. Richard inspected a used car that I was considering buying and confirmed that everything was in working order and no major repairs would be necessary in the near future. The $85 inspection was money well spent considering how much money I was putting into the car.

Pete Hambly did the repair of the front struts of my car. Even before meeting him, he communicated very well and helped make sure that everything was ready for the day of service. He arrived early, and upon finding out that we could not do the repair in my apartment garage, he helped find a new location to do the repair. Throughout the repair Pete was very friendly and approachable, and did a great job on the repair even though it was a complicated process. I felt like he was fully transparent about the work he was doing on the car. The cost was about half of what I would have paid at my dealership service and the service was far better. Thank you Pete and YourMechanic for your excellent service. I will not hesitate coming to you the next time I need my car serviced!

All about Power Steering Pump Replacement

The power steering system enables you to turn the steering wheel easily. When the car is not running, it is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel. When the car is running, it is the power steering system that helps you turn the steering wheel so easily. The power steering system includes: power steering pump, fluid, belt, hoses and steering gear (rack and pinion). The steering gear connects the steering wheel to the suspension stub axles. When you turn the steering wheel, the power steering pump sends fluid to the steering gear that applies the pressure needed to turn the wheels. If the power steering pump leaks, the steering will become harder to turn. You will see fluid (power steering fluid) underneath your car.
