We had some problems acquiring the correct parts, and when Chris arrived for his follow up visit, he was unable to complete the installation. But he did agree to make a second follow up once I had the proper parts. It took a few days to obtain the parts, since the dealer had to order them, but when they arrived, Chris slotted a revisit into his busy schedule and finished the job to my complete satisfaction. I will certainly book Chris again.

I have raved on Facebook already and made a second appointment with Tien, I like to have a regular mechanic but my street is small and doesn't allow for a tow truck very well. SO if I am broken down I am so calling ya'll again.

Lucas

Lucas was professional, knowledgeable, articulate and went out of his way to solve the problem. I thought I had blown the radiator on the 2005 Toyota Sienna; he diagnosed not a radiator leak, but that one of the gaskets somewhere was leaking. He took the whole thing apart, showed me step by step what the problem was and what he was going to do to repair it. He went out of his way to find the part; he went out of his way to correct the job parts order that is automatically created for this particular job, which in itself saved me something like 150 bucks. He was helpful, thoughtful, kind and did excellent work. I highly recommend him and as a first time user am impressed with Your Mechanic and its mechanics.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
