Jason is an incredible asset to 'Your Mechanic". Be good to him, he is a keeper! He was working in the rain, came prepared, had a tent to cover car so he could work. He is unflappable. He perseveres till the job is done. I am certainly recommending 'your mechanic to friends'. Keep up the good work, it will be rewarded. Jason is A++++. Thank you Jason.

This review is for Russell - but first it showed Bradley then Chad for name? My car had a starter problem and by calling my mechanic to come over to fix it saved me the trouble of spending money towing it. Russell was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He fixed my car within a pretty short time. The only thing I'm concerned with is the re manufactured starter Russell got from O'Reilly Auto Parts. By calling O'Reilly, they told me the remanufactured part is whole-life warranty, but since the account is under Russell's name, I just wonder if later on my starter has a problem how would I get another starter without any cost. The company should think about this for the customer.

He called and asked if he could come early, which was perfect! When he arrived, he was so personable and very friendly. Great conversation, which it made it that much more comfortable. He was very patient with my car and let me know exactly what was wrong, verbally and physically. I will be seeing him again tomorrow to get my car worked on and I am that much more comfortable with that happening. I work Mon-Friday an hour and half away from home, so this idea was perfect! Thank you so much! Will be using from now on!

All about CV Axle / Shaft Assembly Replacement

Axle shafts are commonly referred to as “CV axles” or “half-shafts.” An axle shaft is a narrow, pole-like part that connects a wheel to the gears in the transmission. Axles are part of the system that enables the wheels to rotate. One end of the axle shaft is connected to the transmission and the other end is connected to the wheel. The transmission rotates the axle shafts, which rotates the wheels. Without the axles, the tires will not rotate and the car will not move. Axle shafts are comprised of four components: shaft, CV joints, grease and the boots (grease container). The most common reason for the axle to fail is because of the torn boots (grease leaking out). Without the grease, the CV joints will not get lubricated, dirt will enter the joint and the whole axle will eventually wear out.
