Jason was on time (actually, called ahead and was early, which was great!), professional, and attentive to my (many!) questions/concerns. The part replacement and safety check were spot-on and got me back on the road far faster than I had expected. Jason and YourMechanic will definitely be my go-to for future work. I would recommend anyone to use Mechanic Auto Repair. I Can only speak for James as a mechanic. I have experience with James. Every thing checked out diagnostically . He still was able to find the problem. I now need more work done. So who do I ask for? (James} I Will give more feed back after the 6/18/2016. That's when next work is to be completed.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
