When this gasket is in place, it prevents oil from leaking out onto the outside of the engine. The engine was still on when i shut the key off and i saw a smoke coming out. I put the gear on reverse and back to park the smoke stoppe, i drove the car to the mechanic that installed the remote starter for me yesterday. He had to remove the remote starter kit brain for the car to shut off but now when we turn on the key the car won't start anymore the battery is good but they key doesn't work in the engine anymore.
