Brandon was an excellent, personable and professional mechanic who showed up early and got the job done in record time. He was even kind enough to ride along with me on a test drive to ensure the car worked properly after the service. I would recommend Brandon to anyone as he's the first mechanic I've ever had who hasn't tried to upsell me on services or rip me off. Five stars and thank you for being awesome!

Richard was great!! He took the time to speak to me about everything going on with my vehicle. Explained everything in detail. Pointed out specific parts and explained them. He also made recommendations for repairs and took the time to explain why they were needed and what should and should not wait very long to be repaired. It was a great experience and I will definitely be scheduling the repairs to have Richard perform the work. I appreciate yourmechanic.com for their assistance with scheduling Richard so fast to come out and diagnose my issues with my car.

All about Spark Plug Replacement

The spark plugs are an important part of the ignition system. When you turn the ignition key (car's key) on, it causes the ignition coil to generate the spark which ignites the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinders to start the engine. The number of spark plugs in the car is the same as the number of cylinders, although some vehicle manufacturers will use two spark plugs per cylinder. Over time, the spark plugs wear out and require replacement. When the spark plugs wear out, it is harder for it the air-fuel mixture to ignite, resulting in engine misfires. If one of the spark plugs has failed, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly. On some vehicles, spark plug replacement may be labor intensive and involve removal of the intake plenum.
