Liked his approach to the problem. What started as a water pump replacement job turned out to be a "replace the clamps" on the hose connecting the engine to the radiator. Good to see a mechanic who asked the right questions and did not take the Dealer diagnostics on face value.

Maxwell got to the house before the scheduled time and quickly got to work. He did an inspection on the car in which he did a routine inspection which took about 30 minutes. After he called and said it was done he went over what he believed needed replacing. In the end he was extremely nice and professional. I will definitely be having Max continue the work on mu car in the future.

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
