First time user! Heard squeaking noises and rubbing metal when pressing on my brakes. I took my car to a couple of auto repair shops and of course they gave me over the head prices to get new brake pads and rear rotors! Found YourMechanic online and had Pete come out to inspect my brakes. BEST AND FASTEST AUTO REPAIR SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD. He told me exactly what was wrong, gave me recommendations and came the next day 2 hours early to start the job. It was a 3 hour job and he finished in 1.5 hours. Also included an oil change, tire rotation and replaced one of my brake lights. Total amount came up 50% less than we got from other shops. Definitely recommend using YourMechanic! This will be my go to service when I need repairs! Request Pete as your mechanic! THANK YOU!
Exceeded all expectations. Very impressed with the quality of the technician; extensive knowledge and service standard high level certifications achieved. I felt a little guilty that all I had for him to do was an oil/filter change. Despite the rather simple job (relatively speaking), he handled my vehicle and my property with a great deal of respect. Roland took plenty of time to explain to me the findings of his inspection of my vehicle. Unlike so many instances having my car serviced at the dealer (where they invariably assert the urgent need for expensive maintenance parts and service), Roland's advice was offered in such a way that I did not get the usual nagging suspicion that I was being taken for a ride (so to speak). I am EXTREMELY impressed with all aspects of my initial encounter with the business and their technician. I will most certainly be in contact with this service again. Roland is an exceptional asset to YourMechanic; as long as he is available for my automotive needs in the future, I will continue to be a customer. Thank you!!!

Before replacing the pump, first be sure that filters, fuel pickups, fuel pump relays, and electrical connectors are in good working order. A clogged fuel filter, for instance, can restrict flow and cause some of the same symptoms.
Your engine needs gas to run. The gas, however, is stored in the gas tank, not in the engine. When the engine needs more fuel, the fuel pump is responsible for pumping the gas from the tank to the engine, where it is used to power the vehicle. As the fuel pump deteriorates, it will be less and less efficient at pumping gas to the engine, and your vehicle will have a harder time running. When the fuel pump completely dies, it will be unable to pump gas to your engine, and your car won’t run.
