I had no issues with the mechanic at all. He did his job just fine. I do think the service is falsely advertised though. The website makes it seem like it's extremely easy and hassle free but does not directly highlight that your car must be parked nearby an electrical outlet and it cannot be in the street. I understand why they have these rules but I think this might run into a bit of a problem in San Diego. Luckily I currently live at a place with a driveway but a couple months back I had to park along the street for my residence and my job only offers on street parking as well. I have plenty of friends and colleagues who are in this same position, so in order to even make this service work they would have to make prior arrangements. Once again I understand the reason's why they would have those rules but due to the higher price for this service and the inconvenience it caused I will not be going back.

I can't say enough how great David was! I originally booked an appointment for front brakes and rotors but after he looked at both the front and rear it was determined that the rear brakes had only 10% left and the rotors were worn, much worse than the front. He drove to Auto Zone and got the rear brake pads and rotors and came back and fixed them instead which saved me about $60 dollars. He was on time for the appointment, very professional, honest, knowledgable, and kept everything clean. I think I have found a mechanic for life and those are very hard to come by!!! My mechanic is great and I am so glad I found them. I've had horrific experiences at Meinke, Big O Tires (which told me I needed repair work that I didn't need) and the dealer (which costs a fortune). Thanks My Mechanic for your outstanding job, employees, and fair prices!

All about Intake Manifold Gaskets Replacement

The intake manifold is an aluminum, steel or plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. It is attached to the top of the engine by an intake manifold gasket (or gaskets) that is made of plastic and rubber. The intake manifold directs the air-fuel mixture in the engine to the corresponding cylinder where it is burned to produce power. The coolant flows through the intake manifold to the cylinder heads to reduce engine temperature. Expansion, contraction, and heat from the engine cause the gasket to fail. This will cause coolant passing through the intake manifold to leak. A leaky manifold gasket can also result in air being sucked through the leaky gasket, resulting in a vacuum leak and poor engine performance.
