Your car just discovered a brand new clicking sound every single time your car makes a turn. Is it dangerous? Not if you handle it the right way. In most of today’s vehicles, this clicking sound is a healthy warning that your car may need some minor suspension work.

Common reasons for this to happen:

Torn CV Boot

Your CV boot can get gradually torn or wear out over the course of time.

Worn CV Joint

The internal lubricants that protect the sensitive metals within the boot will lose their lubrication and begin to run dry, resulting in metal-to-metal contact.

Other Nearby Parts Are Damaged

Your driveshaft, wheels, and tires can all make similar unusual sounds if they get damaged.

What to expect:

A top-rated mobile mechanic will come to your home or office to determine the source and cause of the clicking noise, and will then provide a detailed inspection report that includes the scope and cost of the necessary repairs.

How it's done:

The mechanic will inspect the CV joints as well as the other nearby components of your front suspension system.

How important is this service?

This can become a big issue if you ignore it. The question is whether you’re able to discover this minor issue, and have it repaired, before it becomes a major one. Book a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis of the clicking noise as soon as possible.

GMC R3500 V8-5.7L - Brake System Inspection - Newark, New Jersey
Pretty good. My inspection for my brakes went very quick, (a little too quick.) Not the most thorough inspection. However, Tomas came to the same conclusion that I had already suspected and the problem is now "dually" analyzed. 15 minutes, and I'm good. Tomas was quite knowledgeable and polite. He came with the proper tools and equipment to say the least and was promptly on time for the booked appointment. I would consider requesting Tomas again for similar work. Thanks again to Tomas and the team at YourMechanic for helping out.
