This service is genius, and thoughtfully executed. Chris was my mechanic, and although in the end I consider myself lucky to have been paired with him, I have a feeling his example of this service is common among all Your Mechanic mechanics. It was everything advertised, and everything well reviewed. He showed up early and spent the necessary time to fix my problem...and then stayed beyond to explain more about my car than I'd ever expect to know from a mechanic. It was so enlightening. I can't say enough about this service, and my mechanic, Chris. You'll be skeptical at first, in this business it's expected. But you'll see this is the best option I've ever experienced and I will absolutely contact Your Mechanic every time I need work done from now on. Thanks Chris, and Your Mechanic!

I received a text alert from Rod letting me know that he was on the way to my house. Upon arriving he introduced himself and went right to work on my truck. Rod had all of the necessary tools and the new parts to do the job. He was very knowledgeable, fast and clean. When Rod finished the job. He double checked all of his work, took pictures and then took my truck for a test drive. I was very impressed with Rod. He is a first class professional, who truly has a passion and cares for what he does. I will definitely use Your Mechanic and Rod again in the future. Thanks again Rod.

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
