Although my first experience with Lucas wad less than satisfactory, I'm glad I gave him another chance. He was able to help me diagnose a separate issue that I believe may have been related to my differential, and was willing to do everything as planned despite the weather. I was very happy with the way things turned out this time and would request him again.

Chris was great! He arrived promptly at appt time & had texted to let me know he was on the way. During the tune-up services, he pointed out and explained a couple potential issues that i should be aware of, so I can take care of them before it's a real problem. Very polite, quick & clean ...not to mention that my old (18 yr) car is driving great.

All about Ignition Cable (Spark plug wires) Replacement

The ignition cables, also known as “spark plug wires” are part of the ignition system. They transfer the spark from the distributor or ignition coil to spark plugs that ignite the air-fuel mixture, starting the engine. Over time, the cables can get weak and break down. This will make it harder for the spark to reach the engine cylinders, resulting in engine misfires. The car may not start at all. If one of the spark plugs has gone bad, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly.
