Patrick is always professional with dress and manners. Gets right to work and knows what he is doing and explains what he is doing so you understand what is being done to your car. He found an ongoing problem with my car previously that two other mechanics could not find. He is working on my car again next week.

This was my first time using YourMechanic so I was a little hesitant. But Richard was absolutely awesome. I'll probably request him for future auto appointments. He was here on time for the appointment (in fact a bit early!), and did the job in 40 minutes. All while I was able to get some work done at home. Is this the next big thing in the DMV? Cause sign me up!

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
