Thank you, Joshua!! I've taken my car to the dealership for tune-ups ever since I bought it in 2006. They overcharge but I never had time to research a new mechanic, much less take it somewhere new. The last time I took my car in, the dealership said I needed some work done and quoted me a BIG price. Based on a friend's review here, I made an appt w/ YourMechanic and am VERY pleased. Not only did he do great work, he was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and did the work for a third of the dealership's quote. I already recommended YourMechanic and Joshua to my dad.

Robert was great and we will be having him return soon. He diagnosed the problem correctly (unlike the other guy you sent) and thus saved us a lot of money.

Joseph is great. He is on time and even earlier than expected. My car has a stubborn bolt that wouldn't open for him to change the belts. He didn't give up and his persistent efforts fixed the problem after getting a more powerful tool. I am greatly appreciate that he tried to do the right way by coming back with the right tool.

All about Water Pump Replacement

The water pump, a container made of aluminum or iron, is part of the cooling system. It contains an impeller (looks like a fan) that circulates water and coolant throughout the cooling system, keeping the engine from overheating. It is located in the engine compartment. For the water pump to work, it needs to turn. This is accomplished either by the drive belt or timing belt/chain. If the water pump is not working, the coolant will not circulate through the cooling system causing the engine to overheat and get severe damages.
