On his last visit Theo recommended a power steering fluid change as it needed it and to rid the sqeakes it made when you turn the wheels...turns out that wasn't the cause but Theo didn't give up and found the problem and to adjust position of a pump which the vibrations were causing the noise...Thanks Theo

This was my first time using Your Mechanic and I have to say I will most likely be coming back to use this service for any car troubles I may have. Tired of taking my car to dealerships and feeling like I am being taken advantage of and told things need fixed when they don't need to be. Matt was very honest and told me why he thought my car wouldn't start. He didn't pressure me into getting anything fixed right away and I appreciated that. I know if I would have taken my car to a dealership to have it looked at it would have cost me much more than what it cost going through Your Mechanic. I would highly recommend this company and Matt to anyone looking for a great mechanic.

Richard did an excellent job on replacing my motor mounts. My neighbors were so impressed they starting coming over and asking for the phone number. Richard was honest about all aspects of what he was doing, showed me the parts he took out and showed me the defects. I felt super confident he wasn't trying to rook me! MyMechanic is what the future of auto repair needs to be! THANK YOU RICHARD, YOU ROCK!! See you soon!

All about Water Pump Replacement

The water pump, a container made of aluminum or iron, is part of the cooling system. It contains an impeller (looks like a fan) that circulates water and coolant throughout the cooling system, keeping the engine from overheating. It is located in the engine compartment. For the water pump to work, it needs to turn. This is accomplished either by the drive belt or timing belt/chain. If the water pump is not working, the coolant will not circulate through the cooling system causing the engine to overheat and get severe damages.
