Jamahl was awesome. He was on time, he was professional, even having to work under my roommates unnecessary surveillance. (Sorry Jamahl). The work he did on my Jeep made a night and day difference. When I took it to drive again, it ran like it was brand new. And the cost? Less than half of what the dealership quoted. I'm happy. I will definitely use his service again!

Patrick arrived precisely on time and got right to work after a brief verbal diagnostic. This was a simple task that is simply did not have time for, and Patrick did not waste a minute. He switched my O2 sensor, cleared the trouble codes, checked fluids and drove it around the block in 45 min. I will definitely use YourMechanic and Patrick again.

All about Intake Manifold Gaskets Replacement

The intake manifold is an aluminum, steel or plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. It is attached to the top of the engine by an intake manifold gasket (or gaskets) that is made of plastic and rubber. The intake manifold directs the air-fuel mixture in the engine to the corresponding cylinder where it is burned to produce power. The coolant flows through the intake manifold to the cylinder heads to reduce engine temperature. Expansion, contraction, and heat from the engine cause the gasket to fail. This will cause coolant passing through the intake manifold to leak. A leaky manifold gasket can also result in air being sucked through the leaky gasket, resulting in a vacuum leak and poor engine performance.
