Lucas was actually early for my appointment which felt good in this day and age when many companys make you wait for thier service techs to come out. Lucas had to source a different part for the correct match which he did quickly, returned the next day on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. Gave me some good feedback on some other potential problems that could develop with my car. Overall I loved the service of having the estimate pre-set before the work starts. Jason showed up within the scheduled time. He explained the process and everything that he was going to be doing. They shipped him the wrong brake rotors, but he went straight to O'Reilly's and got the correct ones. After he finished the job he explained the diagnosis he performed, the service, and how I was going to be billed. He was very professional and friendly.

Jose helped me get my 68 mustang running again after weeks of tinkering with it myself with no success. He was very knowledgeable and taught me a few things about engine timing and carburetors while he was here. I would highly recommend.

All about Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Many newer cars have computerized engine management systems that rely on sensors to report data to the computer. The crankshaft position sensor is used in conjunction with the camshaft position sensor to control ignition timing and to let the computer know when to inject fuel and provide spark sequence. Due to the mounting locations of this sensor, it is common for heat and oil leaks to cause this sensor to fail.
