I had Peter out here several times to work on my car, however, when he came the last time, I thought he did not fix it like we thought he had. So I called him again, and said I only wanted him to check it to see if he missed something as I had oil leaking all over my garage. He backed the car out of the garage and he asked for a water hose and I gave him one and turned the water on for him. He let the car run about 40 minutes and I was pouring dish washing soap on the oil inside the garage. Peter, said I have nothing to do while the car is running so I will clean up this oil for you. My, what a good job he did. Then he used the water hose on top and underneath the car. He worked for quiet a while. When he finished I drove the car to take care of some errands, and I was worried that it would start again. but it has been several days and I called him, left a message that I had no oil leaks. He returned my call and I told not one drop of oil any where, and he said "I think you are home free, but keep and eye on it. I said I would. Now, I have never seen a hard working mechanic like he is, do the things he did for me. He went far beyond his call to duty, and if I ever need any more problems with my car, he would be the one I would call. Not only is he a good mechanic but he cares about people he is working for. I would recommend Peter to any one in my area who needs a excellent mechanic to work on their car, in their garage or drive way, He deserves a big bonus. Thank you again, Peter and if I need a mechanic, you will be the one I will call.

All about Intake Manifold Gaskets Replacement

The intake manifold is an aluminum, steel or plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. It is attached to the top of the engine by an intake manifold gasket (or gaskets) that is made of plastic and rubber. The intake manifold directs the air-fuel mixture in the engine to the corresponding cylinder where it is burned to produce power. The coolant flows through the intake manifold to the cylinder heads to reduce engine temperature. Expansion, contraction, and heat from the engine cause the gasket to fail. This will cause coolant passing through the intake manifold to leak. A leaky manifold gasket can also result in air being sucked through the leaky gasket, resulting in a vacuum leak and poor engine performance.
