Instantly vibed that Steven was not only a very pleasant, trustworthy person but, an experienced mechanic. He found and pointed out a couple other small issues, outside of the alternator replacement in which I had booked him for, that he took care of without question or additional fees. Came all the way from Surprise, called 30 minutes before to confirm and was even early. He was fully prepared and able to answer any questions I may have had. Couldn't be happier with his expertise and service. Highly recommend Steven to any and everyone. He's a family guy and it shows in the care he takes with his work. Thanks again!

Andrew let us know when he was coming, called when he was a few minutes away from our home, and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was friendly and very competent. Changed the brakes and rotors in about an hour. We were impressed with Andrew, love being able to have someone come to us to repair our car, the price was excellent, not a penny more than what we were told. We will definitely use Yourmechanic the next time the need arises and recommend them to friends and family.

All about Car Radiator Replacement

The radiator performs a critical function; it keeps the engine from overheating. While running, the engine produces heat. Coolant flowing through the system absorbs and removes extra heat from the engine. The coolant then passes through the radiator where it cools off and is later circulated back to the engine to absorb heat again. A radiator has two tanks that are connected to each other through aluminum or brass tubes. When the coolant passes through these tubes, the radiator cooling fan blows air across the radiator to lower the temperature of the coolant. The tank is usually made of plastic, and it is common for it to crack and start leaking coolant. If the tank or the tubes crack, coolant will leak , the vehicle will overheat and could cause severe engine damage. Radiators also tend to clog over time. When this occurs, not enough coolant flows through the radiator leading to heat build-up, causing the engine to overheat.
