I thought that my problem was much worse than it actually was. Chris correctly diagnosed the issue even though it meant less work and less pay, and was prepared to fix it on the spot. This was my first time with YourMechanic and I will absolutely be using them again.

Jose is a very competent and highly qualified mechanic. He took the time to help me understand his diagnosis procedure and made every attempt to get the car running. I feel able to complete the repair myself thanks to his identification of the problem and would recommend his services to anyone.

I did have another mechanic of yours come out at first I thought he had fixed the problem but Brandon seems to know more about pt cruisers since he use to work at a Chrysler dealership. Car runs good I feel I can trust him better than your other mechanic you sent before.Brandon is honest tells me the problems with my car. The problem with most shops is they fix part of the problem but they don't tell you what the real problem is with your car.

Jose arrived prior to the set appointment time and was very professional, along with the apparent skill sets to properly diagnose and make the necessary repair(s) to correct the issue(s). In addition, Jose suggested other area(s) to consider in the future, but not with any hard sell; which made interacting with Jose very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Jose and use him again. The only issue, which had nothing to do with Jose, was upon Jose's future recommendation of service with approximately cost; once rerouted back through YourMechanic Services, the price was over inflated compared to Jose's estimate. Nevertheless, Jose's service was impeccable.

All about Car Radiator Replacement

The radiator performs a critical function; it keeps the engine from overheating. While running, the engine produces heat. Coolant flowing through the system absorbs and removes extra heat from the engine. The coolant then passes through the radiator where it cools off and is later circulated back to the engine to absorb heat again. A radiator has two tanks that are connected to each other through aluminum or brass tubes. When the coolant passes through these tubes, the radiator cooling fan blows air across the radiator to lower the temperature of the coolant. The tank is usually made of plastic, and it is common for it to crack and start leaking coolant. If the tank or the tubes crack, coolant will leak , the vehicle will overheat and could cause severe engine damage. Radiators also tend to clog over time. When this occurs, not enough coolant flows through the radiator leading to heat build-up, causing the engine to overheat.
