Enrique is very knowledgeable and experienced. He used several methods to trouble-shoot my fuel problem and confirm it was, indeed my fuel pump. I have already scheduled for him to return and install the new fuel pump. It is a pleasure working with Enrique. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for a very experienced mechanic who approaches the job with honesty and integrity.

Very engaged with me as customer to determine root causes, customer's desired outcome & work to be performed, and pricing options for various levels of service. Thorough analysis/troubleshooting, great work, professional mechanic. A refreshing change-up to have Jessica tackle the work rather than bringing it to a shop. Will definitely be using Jessica's mechanical maint/repair services again.

All about Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

The camshaft position sensor monitors the position of the camshaft and reports that data to the car’s onboard computer system. This computer system works with sensors and other devices to keep the engine running. With data from the camshaft position sensor (CPS), the fuel injectors know when to fire. When the sensor malfunctions, the computer does not know when to fire the injectors and may not fire them at all. The faulty readouts may also throw off spark timing, which will affect the car’s fuel economy. This sensor is used in conjunction with the crankshaft position sensor to control ignition timing. It is common for heat and oil leaks to cause this sensor to fail, due to where the sensor is located.
