Abdul was AWESOME. He got to my home right on time (little early, actually ), he immediately worked with me, and got my 2nd appt (also scheduled for today, at the same residence) bumped up, allowing him to service both vehicles, back to back (which saved me even MORE time, and eliminated another worry/hassle from my already full plate)-something the customer service rep couldn't/wouldn’t do for me, when I called the 800# earlier in the day, requesting the same thing. Abdul was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and he really DID go above and beyond for me, in his striving to give the best experience possible-he even SWEPT UP THE DEBRIS left by the dirty air filter from my garage countertop! (and made sure to dispose of it too)!! I (already have, actually) will definitely recommend Your Mechanic (and Abdul personally) to friends and family , and be using them again. Slow clap, Abdul, slow clap-I am one very happy customer.

I believed I found an honest mechanic. Tom was schedule for full tune up for my car. But when he check and test the car he told me that I don't need to change the spark plug. If you go to other mechanic they don't tell you that, they just change the spark plug to get your money even they know the spark plug still good. But Tom didn't, instead he told me what need to be fix in my car. Wow this days it's hard to find a honest mechanic like Tom. Tom will be my personal mechanic from now on. I save $214.00 due to honest mechanic like Tom.

Russell finished this car pretty quick and did a good job compared to the previous car, although he found concerns on the car and reported it but didn't inform me with complete information nor did he show me the things he felt were wrong with the car

Came on time, professional (He performed major axle repair on my Camry 6 months ago and saved me $650 from the Toyota dealership quote; and his work was excellent--no problems with axle since). He completed 75,000 maintenance service today and explained what I would need in the near future re: brakes, shocks and transmission pan leak. There was no pressure from Jeff and he gave me a brief quote of what those services would cost and they were quite reasonable.--I'm sure they would cost much more with my Toyota dealership and they would also try to sell me a $400 tire (which they did in the past) when all I had was a nail in my tire. So I took it to Firestone for a second opinion and they plugged it for $15 and I never had a problem. That is why I will be contacting Jeff to work on my brakes, shocks and transmission pan in 4 to 6 weeks. When I got my bill it included a credit adjustment (discount) of $46.38. He explains everything in a way I can understand and there is no pressure. I trust him. That is a rare thing these days when you take your car to a dealership.

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Service

What is the Cabin Air Filter all about?

When you turn on the heat or air conditioner, the air that you get from the car vents originates from outside the car. The cabin air filter cleans the air before passing it through the heating or air conditioning system.

Cabin Filter

Keep in mind:

The cabin air filter is different from the air filter. The job of the air filter is to clean the air that goes into the engine to burn fuel. The job of the cabin air filter is to clean the air that you get from the vents inside the car. You may have more than one cabin air filter.

How it's done:

  • Remove and replace the cabin air filter(s)
  • Clean out all the debris from the compartment if needed.

Our recommendation:

Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and change the cabin air filter as recommended. If you regularly park your car under a tree or near bushes, the cabin air filter(s) will likely suck up debris and leaves, becoming dirtier, faster.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Cabin Air Filter?

  • Airflow from the AC vents is low or weak.

How important is this service?

When you turn on the heat, fan, or air conditioning in your vehicle, the air that enters the cabin is taken from outside the car. Before passing through your vents it first goes through the cabin air filter, which captures much of the dust, dirt, and harmful pollutants in the air. A functioning cabin air filter assures that the air coming through your vents is clean. When the cabin air filter stops working, the air that enters your vents is unfiltered and can be harmful to breathe. A dirty cabin air filter also obstructs the flow of air to the vents, which will lower the power of your heating or air conditioning system.
