Jay was well informed as to what needed to be done. He made sure all parts were ordered. He finished the work on my vehicle ahead of schedule and reviewed his inspection findings. Your mechanic is fanstacic. I did not have to wait in a service waiting room or arrange transportation to a service location. Prices were below dealer costs. I will use the service again and request Jay to perform the work. I value his work and knowledge. Outstanding mechanic!

This was my 1st time using your mechanic. I was nervous at 1st until Mike showed up.. He was very friendly and made me feel really good about him being under the hood of my car.. The most important thing is he was quick.. Came on sight, took care of business and was gone ..He also gave me a full report on other issues outside of what he repaired that needed some attention...Great Experience!!!!!!!

So far, I believe his work to be good and have had no problems. I've never met him face to face because he comes to the house while I'm at work.

Knowledgeable and informative he did an excellent job installing my part and letting me know what needs to be fixed soon! I will definitely be booking another appointment for the other part soon and making sure all of my friends and family book him too! And he finished on time!! Simply AMAZING!!! THANK YOU DAVID!!

I apologize for taking so long to write this review. Whitney is definitely my mechanic from now on. He arrived on time at my condo parking lot, he diagnose the car to see if everything I requested needed to be changed, and in fact, I did not need to change everything (my AC was not working and I've got very high estimates to fix it). While taking the engine apart, he noticed a leak on the water pump, so since it was Sunday and the shop did not deliver the parts, he actually went to pick them up himself. When done, he performed another thorough check of the whole car. I am really very pleased with his work and will call him over and over again and definitely recommend him to everyone I know. Thanks Whitney!

Car AC Low Pressure Hose Replacement Service

What is the AC Low Pressure Hose all about?

The AC system has many components: compressor, condenser, receiver dryer, evaporator, and hoses. For an AC system to work, it needs a gas or liquid substance, a refrigerant, (R-12 in older cars, R-134a in 1995 and newer cars). Hoses carry the refrigerant throughout the AC system. A car usually has four or more hoses. The AC system hoses are connected to the evaporator, condenser, dryer, and the compressor.

Hoses

Keep in mind:

Due to normal wear and tear, the hoses can crack and leak refrigerant. Because the cracks cannot be sealed, you will need new hoses.

How it's done:

  • Use the manifold gauge set to measure the pressures.
  • Inspect the AC system for leaks.
  • Remove refrigerant from the system.
  • If an AC hose is leaking, remove and replace the hose(s).
  • Evacuate and recharge the AC system.
  • Check the car for system leaks.
  • Check for proper operation of the AC system.

Our recommendation:

The AC system is a sealed unit. It is not something you will inspect or service unless you notice a change. If you notice a change in the temperature of the air through the AC vents (not as cold as it should be), schedule an inspection.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the AC Low Pressure Hose?

  • Air conditioning is not as cold as it should be.
  • Air conditioning does not work at all.

How important is this service?

In addition to your comfort, air conditioning systems add value to your vehicle. You should keep your AC fully operational. In some systems, the hot and cold air are blended to achieve the desired temperature setting. In these cases, when the AC system fails, you will not only NOT get any cold air, but the entire temperature regulation is thrown off.
