1990 Mercedes-Benz 500SL 41,200 mile service at the convenience of your home or office

Appt was between 9:45 AM - 10:15 AM. Benji reached out like a true pro and advised. He showed up and listened to what I stated. Looked and within minutes made a recommendation. While there had only been two pairs of hands that had worked on my car in the past 10 years, after understanding more of his qualifications I decided to move forward. Within minutes he had an accurate diagnosis for the repair. He was extremely thorough in that procedure and let me know what this consisted of. I'm not easy to deal with all the time because I require details and some people do not have good communication skills. This is the reason why I service my own vehicles as much as possible - zero patience for anything else. Benji has excellent communication, good interpersonal skills and showed patience. I had a good experience with him and when YourMechanic adjusts my account accordingly I'll be more than happy to reach out and ask him if he wouldn't mind servicing my vehicle. This guy is good. Let's see if his team has those qualities as he stated it would a different tech to conduct the service. Though wished it would be him. He's the man! But have confidence in this man - let him diagnose the problem first ad explain it. Cheers!

Michael deserves a full 5 stars for his honesty and work. I had rated him earlier at 4 stars because he broke the temperature sensor but admitted it right away and said he would return with the part and fix it at no charge, I admired his awesome honesty but was not sure if he would follow through and hence the 4 stars rating earlier. But he followed through and it was all completed and so he deserves the full 5 stars for his knowledge, experience and above all his integrity and honesty which is not common with the mechanics these days, So he needs to be recognized for that. I might give him a 4.95 stars which is not possible because he forgot to put back the tensioner pulley dust cap and could not find it later. Its a minor part and cant be bought at the store either which is annoying but I would still give him 5 stars because of his honesty, efficiency and knowledge. He was quick and efficient. Jimmi resolved 2 BIG issues. The first was with advice on a fix for AdBlue starts countdown which if it reached zero would have been a major headache. The second was replacement of the power steering pressure hose which I could not fin the part ANYWHERE. He found it immediately came to the house and replaced the leaking one without issue and at a small fraction of the cost Mercedes would charge. Great experience.
