After Pep Boys diagnosed my truck as needing a $1500 repair of replacing the fuel pump assembly , fuel pressure regulator , and fuel filter , I was very suspicious . I made an appoint with " your mechanic " . Carlos arrived right on time and conducted an initial trial of starting the truck . He decided to run a few tests and determined that the fuel pump and fuel system was fine .
