Our vehicle was not safe to take on the road and had sat for nearly a year. We needed it back on the road asap! I was uneasy about hiring someone I didn't have a personal recommendation from. Immediately, I was at ease, as Allen was not bothered by my questions or concerns. He showed and explained everything in terms I could understand. His goal was to be sure we had the critical work performed to be safe in our travels. He made recommendations for future work and the time frame we should have this work performed. He's on time and does excellent work and we are very pleased!! He is our mechanic! Thanks Allen!!

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
