From scheduling to completion of work, everything was efficient. Steven was great - arrived early (with notice), completed the work (O2 sensors), good conversation, in record time. Nice to sit in my garage and watch him work. I will recommend him to all my neighborhood friends. Cost was 3/4 less than dealer and 10 times (or more) faster. Steven is very knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Russell

This review is for the starter replacement on the 2000 Toyota Tundra. This was the first time I have used "Your Mechanic". This job is major and requires more than 4 hours to complete the replacement. I wasn't sure how it would work as the intake manifold, fuel injectors must be removed. The starter is located under the intake manifold. I was assigned Russell G as my mechanic. I have been around mechanics for most of my 72 years. Russell was THE BEST mechanic I have ever had doing work for me. He keeps you informed of any problem areas, cleans the parts removed, double checks the install to make sure the customer doesn't have any problems and keeps the area cleaned. He is very knowledgeable and I will request his services for two more jobs that I need done on our vehicles.

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
