I purchased a groupon and decided to try YourMechanic. Joseph was extremely professional and knowledgable. He was right on time and came prepared. He finished my oil change quickly and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. He was very familiar with my vehicle and very helpful in giving me advice about further maintenance. I highly recommend Joseph and plan to use him in the future for all my family's auto problems/maintenance. If you want an expert this is your guy.

Maxwell was an excellent mechanic. I called him for my fuel pump but that turned out not to be the problem. He told me it was the spark plugs and showed me how I could do it myself and the exact parts I needed to buy. I will definitely be giving him a call the next time something isn't working right. Higly recommended. Thanks again Maxwell!

All about Brake Rotors/Discs Replacement

A brake rotor is a smooth metal disc attached to the wheel hub. Most new cars (1999 and above) come with rotors at each wheel. Older cars may have drums instead of rotors at the rear wheels . Brake rotors play an important part in the braking system. It is the friction between brake pads and rotors that cause your car to slow down and stop. As the rotors wear out (become thin or warped), they are unable to dissipate the heat caused by the braking system. This will cause the brake fluid to boil and reduce the effectiveness of brake system significantly.
