This service is genius, and thoughtfully executed. Chris was my mechanic, and although in the end I consider myself lucky to have been paired with him, I have a feeling his example of this service is common among all Your Mechanic mechanics. It was everything advertised, and everything well reviewed. He showed up early and spent the necessary time to fix my problem...and then stayed beyond to explain more about my car than I'd ever expect to know from a mechanic. It was so enlightening. I can't say enough about this service, and my mechanic, Chris. You'll be skeptical at first, in this business it's expected. But you'll see this is the best option I've ever experienced and I will absolutely contact Your Mechanic every time I need work done from now on. Thanks Chris, and Your Mechanic!

All about Spark Plug Replacement

The spark plugs are an important part of the ignition system. When you turn the ignition key (car's key) on, it causes the ignition coil to generate the spark which ignites the air-fuel mixture in the engine cylinders to start the engine. The number of spark plugs in the car is the same as the number of cylinders, although some vehicle manufacturers will use two spark plugs per cylinder. Over time, the spark plugs wear out and require replacement. When the spark plugs wear out, it is harder for it the air-fuel mixture to ignite, resulting in engine misfires. If one of the spark plugs has failed, the car will still start and run, but it will run poorly. On some vehicles, spark plug replacement may be labor intensive and involve removal of the intake plenum.
