Found the service to be easy to use online with a very quick response time on estimate. The service was more than competitive with previous estimates. It was apparent Ben knew what he was doing and carried out his task in a proficient manner. I have already recommended My Mechanic to friends and relatives.

Awesome service. He showed up 10 min before the appointment, and was polite and knowledgeable. He repaired the problem I requested without having to replace any parts. I was thrilled since I had been quoted $1000 for replacement by another shop. He then verified that the noise I was hearing was not from the exhaust manifold (what the other shop had diagnosed) and was in fact from my transfer case. I will definitely use him again.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
