James was GREAT! I'm used to being stood up by mechanics who say they'll be at my house by a certain time. It was refreshing that, not only did I get messages saying James was on his way, he even called and asked if it was ok if he came EARLIER! He didn't rush through the job either, as if he was in a hurry to be elsewhere. He treated my car the way I imagine he'd treat his own. I've already given out all the referral cards he left me, and I know I'll soon be calling to arrange for him to come do the tune up I want next.

Justin showed up on time on a Saturday. He had all the parts needed to replace an engine mount. He is a very personable, knowledgeable man with a great background in mechanics. He fixed it per the quote, showed me where the mount broke and answered all my questions. This service is a great at home service and Justin is a very good mechanic.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
