What is an oil change all about?

Engine oil is the lifeblood of the engine. The oil resides in the oil pan, which is under the car attached to the bottom of the engine. All internal (moving) parts of the engine need to be lubricated by the engine oil. Inadequate lubrication will cause the parts to wear out faster and eventually lead to engine failure. An oil filter keeps the oil clean and free of debris. If the filter is not replaced on a regular basis, it will get clogged and will not be able to pass oil into the engine.

Can p0717 trigger p0700 on 2006 Equinox?

Both the codes P0700 and P0717 are to the transmission input shaft speed sensor and most likely are related codes. You should have transmission input speed sensor replaced and codes cleared and then see if any codes or problems return....

2021 Lincoln Navigator. Vehicle pulls hard to left on express when in left lane. Mechanic is trying to say it is normal in a navigator and the crown of the road is the reason. I get the crown of road theory but it has a sognificant pull.
