Brent went out of his way to help me out. My engine could have been completely destroyed if I had taken the guidance of another technician whom I had look at my car the night before. Something felt off about the guys assessment, so I decided to wait on Brent to come the next day. The previous mechanic told me that it was a Camshaft Position Sensor that was either clogged and or going bad after the code came back suggesting it was the issue. Instead of doing any other further diagnostic testing, he told me this was the issue and that the car would be fine to drive, though it might stall out a few times. If I had taken this advice, there is a potential that my engine could have seized up permanently in the midst of one of the most congested areas in Atlanta where 75/85 merge with I-20 and who knows how bad things could have been. Brent was cautious with the guys assessment since the Engine light had been reset. Instead of going with the other mechanics assessment, he proceeded a diagnostic test and of course the first thing he found was that the oil was severely low. After having my car's oil changed recently, they apparently forgot to put the seal back on so it steadily leaked over time. It i obvious in hindsight that I should have checked this myself, but I thought surely it must be something else since I just had it changed so my mind went to something way more complicated. Brent immediately noticed the issue and went out of his way to drive me to Advance Auto Parts where I was able to get the parts needed. I can't express my gratitude for what could have happened had I not waited for Brent or the cost it would have been to tow my car more than 100 miles back home. This is an amazing service and Brent was beyond professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I can't recommend him enough.
